Everything had to be surgically ready and ready for packaging. Quotas are set for the whole floor and every pod group had to make a certain number of devices. At the end of the shift every group has to turn in their number for the number of devices made.

When I first joined the company, I worked as an assembler. We use parts made in our molding department to make vision surgical supplies for cataracts, glaucoma, and other various eye conditions. All areas had to be sanitized before, during, and after our shift. Parts needed to be inspected for debris and defects. I did this for the first two and a half months before being transferred to the molding department. Transfer to the molding department required quick inspections for debris and defects while the molded parts where being packed and moved to a holding area. To be sorted and counted. A few months later I was able to go through training and become a molding Inspector. Machines had to be temperature checked and parts inspected. Everything had to be checked and paperwork filled out and parts set aside to be evaluated and measured. At the end of the shift final counts have to be taken in, all the inspections also need to be turned in and all the paperwork given to the line lead to count and turn in.
