I analyzed time series data to predict default risk, loan demand, repayments rates and seasonal cash flow using ARIMA model for seasonal and non-seasonal data. The data had to be differenced and also applied MAPE to prove model fit. I managed to improve Loan portfolio management, operational efficiency & cost reduction by 15%.
I also took part in applying machine learning modeling using actual data for a JHM partner company to predict default risk of a loan portfolio using multiple models such as Ridge regression, LASSO, regression trees and KNN model.
