The product, a 'family wellness kit' will reduce barriers surrounding healthy eating by providing accessible resources and empowerment to families. A MyPlate plate, meal preparation booklet, and food diary make it easier for parents and their children to engage in healthy eating practices. Moreover, the 'family wellness kit' reduces the barrier of transportation by being distributed at the Circle of Hope Community Center: Food Pantry, Resource, and Learning Center in Pflugerville, Texas. This is a location where people in the community tend to gather, with over 8,000 individuals (2,000 families) being accommodated (Circle of Hope Community Center, 2024).
