Provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) program in various capacities. Currently providing support to the FAA’s Telecommunications Service Group (TSG) providing data quality and data analysis of all FAA telecommunications orders and facility reference data.
Brief Description of Work:
Function as the expert primary point-of-contact for all Government and contractor support for determining, analyzing, reviewing, and documenting financial and technical data requirements for use by the FAA in procuring leased telecommunications services and Federal Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) required to support air traffic operations within the National Airspace.
Provide support of quality assurance for FAA Telecommunications Enterprise Management Tool (TEMT) a large scale, multiple source telecommunications reference database using statistical and database tools and techniques.
Serve as a key member of a focus group responsible for data gathering, analyzing, and defining aviation operational requirements driving the design, development, and implementation of a telecommunications software tool suite for the FAA.
Worked with developers to evaluate, modify and test prototype software used by the FAA to manage the quality of telecommunications reference data and support telecommunications inventory and financial management to ensure requirements for operational use have been satisfied.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for performing Quality Control and Data Quality of an enterprise level database system.
Assist with the development and provide an end-user training program for the FAA telecommunication tool suite.
Interface with government, city, state, and local municipalities for Emergency E-911 addressing as a representative of the FAA’s telecommunications program.
Coordinate with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for the acquisition and maintenance of telecommunications services and Telecommunications Service Priorities used for operations and emergency management.
Maintain excellent relationships with customers and co-workers utilizing solid written and oral communication skills.
