Activities

I have steadily challenged myself in utilizing the powers of Excel to streamline work tasks, to identify and exclude redundant activities, and to build a full functioning system that automates reports to deliver information in real time. I embraced my current role to take the fab shop to the next level. It started with moving racks and equipment to achieve uninterrupted flow of activities and to digitally bring the shop up to current times. I implemented a system that uses iPads at each workstation that eliminated 90% of paper use.

I also started the program that opened the fab shop 1 hour early each workday to allow for apprentices and journeymen to practice the trades skills to better themselves. With their determination and sacrifice, they took advantage of this program and received welding certifications. Which in turn moved them into positions to advance to fitting for welders and for the highly qualified making production welds.
