In the prior year, I saw students in grades K - 5th. I serve them for reading, math and social/emotional skills. I use ReadWell, Letterland, Accadience, VMath, NumberWorlds and Zones of Regulation. Burke County Public Schools - Morganton, North Carolina I worked as a Media Coordinator from March of 2012 until August 2018. Worked very closely with all teachers, aligning my lessons with their lesson plans in the classroom. Provided the students with ample opportunity to work with technology. My school in Burke County was 1:1 with Apple devices. Collaborated with the teachers to assist them in developing lesson plans that use technology and align with the Common Core. In addition, I held open circulation daily. Met with each class two or three times each week. This allowed me to have the students work on projects that would take several class periods. Assisted teachers in their classrooms with reading groups. Worked in whatever aspect that the principal needed me to do. In charge of the yearbook. Worked as the testing coordinator. Assisted with technology questions and glitches throughout the day as well. Worked on collection development, keeping my library current and aligned with the Common Core. Worked closely with vendors to determine which vendors offer the best product at the best price.

We used Scott Foresman as our reading program, as well as Sing/Spell. Collaborated with my Kindergarten team to produce lessons that aligned with NCDPI. Enjoyed working with this age-group. Lost my position in Kindergarten due to a reduction in force.

Left for a brief time after my first daughter was born. Returned to work in the Accounts Receivable department. Worked closely with several department heads, including customer service..
