ROCKHURST UNIVERSITY, MBA KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY, M.S. ADULT EDUCATION
APPLICATION FOR ENROLLMENT REPRESENTATIVE.
The attached resume reflects my 17 years of experience as an evening adjunct, during which I taught over 85 graduate and undergraduate courses.
THERE IS ANOTHER ASPECT TO MY CAREER. I worked part-time as both a productive student recruiter and a financial mentor, helping students navigate their student loans.
• I am currently a healthcare student recruiter seeking students for an extremely highly qualified LPN and allied health school offering a hybrid education. (as a 1099 on a 90- day contract, soon expiring)
• I have built a database for every high school counselor in Jackson, Platt, and Clay counties.
• Included in that database are the high school student counselors for Johnson and Wyandotte counties.
I was previously an enrollment recruiter at National American University and LTDP, a student recruiting firm founded by a former president of Grantham University. During my 22-month tenure as a Student Recruiter and Enrollment Specialist, I successfully enrolled 17 undergraduate and nine graduate students, with a focus on programs in healthcare, business, and IT.
As a prior combat veteran who attended night school for eight years, I am an enthusiastic advocate for education. I empathized with prospective students seeking academic growth. I was actively involved in all aspects of the application process, from understanding students' employment aspirations to assisting them in making program decisions and gathering data for evaluation. Additionally, my accounting background enables me to help students effectively navigate financial resources. I assisted them in providing options and outlining fiscal requirements and then connected them with the college's financial services office. Having been in technical sales for almost 30 years. I can recruit, gain trust, and enroll happy students.
I am eager to serve and help others, and I am reaching out to inquire about potential opportunities within your organization where my background may be an asset. Thank you, Rick Fovell, MS, MBA
