PROJECT: - SA-32 (Ashghal Local Road & Infrastructure Project), Qatar. The project is being implemented in existing areas of Doha and Al Wakra that currently lack essential infrastructure. It involves the construction and rehabilitation of sewage networks, stormwater drainage systems, Kahramaa substations and underground cable works, the installation of new street lighting systems and replacement of existing ones, as well as other underground utility and service facilities.

The project is located southwest of the city of Doha in the New Doha Port (NDP) and connects the Al Wakrah-Mesaieed motorway to the east-west artery on the north side, the Al Wakrah bypass to the east, and the peripheral motorway to the west. Algo Systems Qatar undertook the design and construction of a new motorway consisting of 45km of road network and four junctions, J15, J16, J17 and J18. The main road consists of four lanes per direction with vertical roads, auxiliary roads, overground and underground crossings, side walls, pedestrian streets and cycle tracks, traffic signs, traffic systems, surrounding area and buildings, Kahramaa Substations and Underground Cable work, road Street lighting and related infrastructure & underground Utility Work.

I am currently assigned as an Electrical Engineer on the Expressway Highway Project in Qatar. The project includes the construction of the 189 km New Orbital Highway, a key component of the national expressway portfolio. Designed to provide a new transportation link between northern and southern regions of Doha, the highway bypasses the capital city and connects the new Hamad Port with the industrial city of Mesaieed. Contract 1 of the project involves the development of a 45 km dual carriageway, which includes eight grade-separated interchanges.
