To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Ryn Proffer. I have 7 years of experience in information technology, data engineering, and data analysis. I enjoy finding the meaning in large data sets and getting data where it needs to go. I have used SQL queries, Python scripts, and software such as Access, Excel, and Pandas in my pursuit of this.
My coworkers have often described me as resourceful, dedicated, and a passionate problem solver. I bring these qualities with me, as well as my experience in other professional capacities, which provide a well-rounded background. One of the best parts of my job has always been picking apart a problem, tracing it back to its origin, and building a solution; troubleshooting is a great source of joy for me. An example is the discrepancy checks in my time as a data analyst at EAB. These consisted of checking to see if the award package they intended to provide students matched what they had previously outlined. The solution built for this could be as simple as ensuring the cut points used to determine academic rank matched what they used, or it could be as complicated as building a newly created award into the simulation.
Attached you will find a copy of my resume that details my projects and experience. I look forward to hearing from you at 804-***-**** or by email at ************@*****.*** Thank you for your time and consideration. I am excited to speak with you about this opportunity.
Respectfully,
Ryn Proffer
