To open circulation mail, to process checks consisting of circulation, General Ledger, Classified ads and Commercial ads, on a NDP 500 Unisys Machine. Also, I would post cash to customers accounts, to balance batches, and archive the total batches that were processed each day. In the cashiers room there were two parts of the day in the morning open circulation mail (at least 4 trays), and in the afternoon I would process batches on machine. Then, I would save material on disc and post the amounts on customers accounts. Also, I would process batches from other work source. Then balance out what was processed save on disc and e-mail to circulation department. Printout the totals of the day, and give Dunbar (delivery for bank) all processed checks with receipts. Most processed checks usually total from One Hundred thousand to One Million dollars. Before the day was over I would archive the total batches that were processed. Our customer service department needs to look at what accounts were posted daily, so I would burn C.D. S in the archive system, every two weeks as needed.
