EXPERIENCE
Hostess November 2017- January 2019.
Prime29 Steakhouse West Bloomfield, MI.
I worked as a hostess at Prime 29
steakhouse. This position included skills in
different areas of the restaurant, where I
focused on working to seat people and fulfill
their personal needs. I also carried out
orders, calls, and helped to organize parties
held within the restaurant. It was a
high-stress environment and required high
communication skills.
Pocono Springs Camp Counselor June
2021-August 2022.
Pocono Springs Camp East Stroudsburg,
PA.
At Pocono Springs camp, I worked as an
waterfront activity specialist camp counselor
for girls ages 7-16. This job included
working amongst people of various
upbringings and children from various
backgrounds. I worked primarily as a
lifeguard, paddleboard, and sailing
instructor. This required a lot of hands-on
care, as well as communication to make sure
the needs of the children and other staff’s
safety and happiness were met.
Biological Field Technician May 2023-
November 2023.
Western Ecosystems Technology Bad Axe,
MI.
As a field technician at western ecosystems
technology, my main job was focusing on
post-construction bird and bat mortality
rates along wind turbines. Identifying
Michigan species as well as collecting
carcasses and their measurements for data
purposes. Most of the position was
independent work and in various outdoor
settings that included up to 8 hours on foot
some days.
Wildlife Rehabilitation Intern January
2024- June 2024.
Orange Beach Wildlife Center and
Management Program Orange Beach, AL.
At the Orange Beach wildlife rehab center,
my role as an intern was split into two
primary rotations. The first rotation focused
on care for our resident, non-releasable
animals. This included feedings, cleanings,
and enrichment for all resident animals. The
second rotation focused on rehab animals,
and the hands-on care we provided for them.
The tasks for this would change daily,
however, our tasks included: baby feedings,
treating case by case wounds and fractures,
documentation of the species and their
injuries, distributing appropriate
medications, topicals, and any other medical
needs, as well as, making effective and
suitable decisions for the animals in need of
care.
