July 2023- October 2023 Zeam Medical Group
For my externship i had two main focuses. One was taking patient vitals, charting and update the patient demographics. The second main focus was creating referrals to specialist that were in network with the patients insurance and creating benefit sheets to see if the patients insurance qualifies with the needed services . I made sure the work area was clean as-well as scheduling new patients and needed follow ups.

. september 2022- May 2023 Kaiser Patient monitor
Friday through Sunday i worked at Kaiser as a patient monitor for the company InSync. My job was to watch 1-3 patients at a time in the psychiatric unit and document every encounter and activity done within every 15 minutes and hour. I sat in a positioned post and did not leave post unless relieved. I helped the patients with needs if ok with the nurse and guards.

I started working at Summit Nephrology last year as a Medical Assistant l, my main responsibilities were vitaling patients, inputting vitals in the Epic system. I also checked in patients, took copayments and present needed forms. I would clean the front office, the exam rooms and kitchen. Restocking papers for the exam rooms were also a part of my routine. We were instructed to use a machine for Blood pressure but i can do manual; i have done quite a few urine test in the clinic also

As a traveling behavioral aide i go to different schools from grades TK-12 and help students on different scales of the spectrum. I help students recognize social cues, behavioral regulation and provide a safe space at school. These children range from physically disabled to just emotional problems but all very different.
