Alcatel Advanced Technology Center, Shelton, CT 1985-1986 Research Director, Artificial Intelligence: Directly responsible for establishing a center of expertise within ITT in the field of Expert Systems and Machine Learning for the transfer of this technology to the ITT operating units. Responsible for refocusing a team of engineers and scientists from abstract research to applied and targeted research, so that AI systems could be developed cost effectively within the operating units.

ITT Advanced Technology Center, Shelton, CT 1978-1985 Technical Director, Computer Aided Design: Primary architect of the ITT VLSI Design System, and chairman of the corporate VLSI Design Steering Group. Directly and indirectly responsible for the worldwide development of CAD software tools and systems for cost effective, fast turnaround, integrated circuits.

National Security Agency, Fort Meade, MD 1975-1978 Engineer, Operational Test and Evaluation: Designed, developed, and conducted worldwide tests of communications and surveillance systems to determine their operational effectiveness.
