Volunteering as a research assistant allows me to gain direct experience in field research on the effects of domestic violence within family structures. This project's main focus is on the impact of trauma and abuse on women and children. We evaluate its prevalence and effects on a longitudinal scale, also incorporating an integrated treatment plan in order to analyze its effectiveness for victims and their children.
