SPECIAL PROJECTS:
Apron Services – Data Room
I was asked by senior management to create the data room when the company was being privatised. This involved collecting all the relevant legal, financial and other documentation required. Creating master files and having the files copied then checking that all the files were accurate.
Apron Services – Staff Incentive Scheme
Developed and launched the staff incentive scheme.
Arranged for gifts and events to recognise staff for their achievements.
Apron Services – New Corporate Identity
I was tasked by senior management to create a new identity for Equity Aviation, the new company after Apron Services was privatised. I designed new vehicle livery, letterheads, uniforms, business cards and compliment slips.
Harvey Roofing – Display Area
I created a new display area.
Instead of just having racks of the different tile profiles in the range of colours, I created a display area with miniature buildings to suit each tile profile including a hut with Ndebele paintings and a Greek style apartment.
The display area also contained a coffee station, a plasma screen for playing a looped video, brochure displays and an interactive unit where clients could actually feel the different stone coatings and take along samples.
Harvey Roofing – Re-roofing
I was on the planning committee to launch a new re-roofing campaign targeting homeowners with corrugated iron rooves. The idea was to convince homeowners to replace their current corrugated iron rooves with a safer, quieter, more insulated Harvey roof.
I was responsible for finding partners who would assist for financing and fitting the rooves. I also went out to sites to take professional photos that could be used in our advertising campaigns. And I created adverts which were hand delivered to areas with a prevalence of corrugated iron rooves.
Atlas Copco – QA Campaign
Developed and implemented a Quality Assurance campaign with weekly messages, teasers, slogans, giveaways and a crossword puzzle competition to reinforce the QA messages.
Bayer – Complaints System
Worked closely with the Technical Department and IT to create and test an online complaints system.
Trained the sales team on how to use the new complaints system. Also created a comprehensive step-by-step PowerPoint presentation for staff to use to log a complaint.
