I have a strong computer background and for years now, I’ve been exploring programming and understanding the ins and outs of how software programs work. Through my education and experience I have knowledge of software concepts with a practical understanding of Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals and web-based software. I am ready to make my passion my profession and I can think of no better place to do that then at the Space Dynamics Laboratory. My experience has been bolstered by the classes I’ve been taking at Western Governors University as I have been working on obtaining a BS in Software Engineering. I am a team player and have a strong desire to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of any software project and team I am a part of. I am familiar with C#, MVC, SQL, HTML, CSS, and the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment. Currently I have about 4 years of experience with C#. I am a motivated; detail-oriented software engineer and I am eager to learn. I offer more than just the ability to write code. I have experience with web-based technologies and version control systems, such as GitHub. I am also experienced with developing components such as databases as well as both front-end and back- end code. I have learned to communicate effectively and to see software as both a developer and a user; this allows me to communicate with both technical and non-technical people. I can learn and grasp new software, and programming concepts quickly. I have a strong desire to improve my skills, learn new technologies and the willingness to get the job done; as well as organization skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. I have strong written and oral communication skills. Through my education and software design experience I have learned to ask questions and to not shy away from challenges. I know that you will not find someone who is more passionate, dedicated, and willing to learn.

Extensively used Microsoft Visual Studio development environment to manage the project code and refactor as necessary.

Redesigned the credit bureau code of Customer Relations Management web service resulting in a more robust and easier to maintain system.
