Duties included: I worked for Department of Corrections Central Records File Room. I proofread routine and important inmate documents sent from State of Alabama Department of Corrections Prisons. I proofread documents for Quality Assurance and Control. I purged inmate files, prepared and filed recidivist files, filed inmate active and inactive files in each file room. I researched the computer vault program for inmate documents and made sure the documents were scanned into the computer system. I had to be able to determine the status of an inmate whether the inmates were active or inactive by way of the computer programming; I had to also read other details relating to the inmate by researching the computer. Duties included: I worked for the State of Alabama Central Mail Room. I received jobs and material from the State of Alabama Agency Customers. I stored and safeguarded received material properly. I sorted mail and applied postage as necessary for State of Alabama Agencies. I used postage meters and applied postage to outgoing Agency mail. I operated the computer as necessary to insert client letters in proper envelopes by way of mail inserter machines for various State Agencies. In performing all duties, the mail could reach clients by Agency deadline dates.

Duties included: This was a temporary job assignment with Hewlett Packard in which I worked answering the telephone informing clients how to apply for student loans. The potential clients called the customer service line and were screened by me asking them pertinent questions to see if they qualify for a federal student loan. I entered the caller's information into the computer system which generated a file on the person and generated an application to be mailed to the client. I answered client questions based on federal guidelines as presented to me in the four weeks of classes. I made notes in the computer each time the client called so that a caller log was started. Duties included: This was a two-day assignment in which I had to learn the process in two hours of training. I worked for Realtors who brought in their old lock boxes to houses which were on the market. We took in the Realtors old lock boxes. I used a scanner to scan in old lock box information and keyed in information pertaining to each new and old lock boxes. We replaced the old lock boxes with new lock boxes. My duty was to scan in information pertaining to the new lock boxes and program a new code. The clients waited on and received their new lock box products on the same day.
