Responsible for evaluation of annual benefits, liability insurance, and risk management, and making recommendations to the CFO regarding benefit changes. Responsible for training new staff on financial policies.
In my roll at the Foodbank, I was hired as an accounts payable/accounts receivable in a coordinator roll. I knew very little about food banking. My experience there was such a gift as working in central California at a Foodbank eye opening. I learned about food resourcing, working with agencies who served the poor, as well as doing my work in Human Resources.
Santa Barbara Soccer Club Administrative Director 2007 to 2010
Responsible for the administrative side of the local non-profit soccer club comprised of approximately 430 players and families. Services included support of the Board of Directors, payroll, billing and collecting club dues, preparing financial statements, coordinating the preparation of the non-profit tax return with the CPA, coordinating player registration, local tournament fundraisers, supporting the coaching staff and assisting as needed in other areas of club management.
