Assigned as a contractor to develop a Quality Program for the design, development and production of series 3 electrical / pneumatic pumps for the railroad industry.

Duties/Responsibilities: Design and Develop a quality assurance program where suppliers, production and facilities comply with planned program directives and customer requirements for manufacturing electrical / pneumatic pumps. This required a staff of trained quality inspectors, engineers and support staff which included:

Conduct audit into suppliers capabilities in CNC machining, Castings production, electrical component design, development and production capabilities.

Assigned as a contractor as the Program Quality Manager. Designed and developed quality infrastructure within an airframe composite manufacturer. AAR is a (tier 1) supplier of complex-ed composite / aluminum fabrication and structural components for aircraft, weapons delivery system, and space applications.

Duties/Responsibilities: Trained and managed a staff of eight, one Quality Engineer, two technical programmer/operators and five inspection personnel. Conducted customer communications through design reviews (PDR / CDR), on-site visits, high-level management meetings, which includes:

Conducted contract review, system design reviews and conducted requirements elicitation strategy meetings. Implemented a customer communications strategy and planning session designed on Lean Principles. Duties/Responsibilities: Assigned to develop an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IATF-16949 Quality Management System (QMS) in a highly complex-ed plastics injection molding and wet layup processes, and CNC machining manufacture that supports the automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, and medical industry.

Developed ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003, and ISO/IATF 16949: Quality Management System (QMS) for both a plastic manufacturer and to the CNC machine shop. Implemented GD&T (ANSI Y14.5:2009) for surface plate using Mitutoyo Vision System 6v pro and trained two technical staff and seven in-process inspectors.
