Logistics Operations Manager • Stier Supply
-Managed 38 delivery drivers, Fleet of over 60 vehicles, and the routing and delivery of all products.
-Developed Delivery Metrics and reduced delivery costs by tracking and coaching drivers.
-Responsible for relocating warehouse overflow, and all Blinds and Hardware operations to an off-site location. We virtually and physically transferred all inventory and resumed operations without disruption to the customers. This was done so the main distribution warehouse could be doubled in size.
- Stier had failed our DOT Audit. I moved to Outbound Logistics and got the Driver Files and DOT paperwork straightened out and also improved driver safety and training.
-We successfully installed cameras in all Stier Trucks over 3 Distribution Centers and 1 Retail Operation.

Transportation Manager • Republic National Distributing Company
-Managed 100 CDL Delivery Drivers, 5 salary supervisors, and 5 warehouse personnel, responsible for all hiring and onboarding activities as well as managing DOT files and Safety Training.
-Managed a Fleet of 120 vehicles, responsible for budgeting, maintenance costs, fuel costs, licensing, and disposition of the fleet.
- Operated through COVID Pandemic without missing deliveries and disrupting our customers.
- Oversaw many systems changes with the driver delivery system as well as installing in cab cameras on all trucks. This required extensive driver training and was not always popular. I had to sell this change to the drivers to reduce turnover and increase driver morale.

Warehouse Production Manager • Palmetto State Armory
-Managed all on line sales fulfillment including Inbound Receiving functions, Warehouse Put Away functions, Inventory Management and Outbound Picking, Packing, Shipping including compliance management. 150 hourly personnel on 2 shifts, 4 salary supervisors, 3 drivers and 2 Compliance Coordinators.
- Saw many ups and downs due the political aspect of the Firearms Industry. We had to be very flexible and implemented a temp workforce as well as adding and subtracting shifts.
- Designed, Built and Installed an automated shipping line to increase productivity and improve quality.
- Converted the ERP/WMS systems from SAP to NETSUITE and with this conversion completed the first wall to wall inventory.

Area Manager • Amazon
- Managed teams of over 500 pickers during the holiday peak season. Set up the picking and process flow for CAE 1 during launch of new building. Trained for 2 months in Phoenix Arizona to be able to start the FC.
- Bult a great team and saw many of the people I hired get promoted through the years. Some are still with the company as Senior Operations or GMs.
- Ran the shipping dock for the last year I was there, operating all 50+ outbound shipping docks. Scheduling dock times, managing yard drivers and dealing with exceptions.
-Involved in many continuous improvement activities throughout my time at Amazon. Empowered team members to make changes to improve the process throughput and quality.

-Involved in implementation of GMS Quality System as a lead auditor, performed Go Fast continuous improvement activities.

-Responsible for production line quality and reliability testing on door modules and latches for Ford Escape, and Lincoln LS product lines.
-Responsible for all PPAP, and APQP processes for these customer submissions as well as on site quality representative for the product launches on site at the Ford Assembly Plants in Wixom Mi and Kansas City Mo.
-Maintained all quality charts for SPC and data management. Problem solved any quality issues and worked with suppliers on any quality defects. Performed root cause analysis through Ford 8D system.
-Lead Auditor for QS/ISO implementation for corporate quality team of Keykert.

-Created and implemented quality system for ISO/QS 9000 implementation. Certified Lead Auditor of corporate quality team.
-Started operating a CNC Lathe, CNC Grinder and doing final inspection on Axles and Gears for American Axle.
-Became a quality inspector, created a tool room and TQM program before I moved into the Coordinator Role.
