OBJECTIVE: Seeking a senior position and accounting manager in Accounting and Finance

PROFILE:

Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager and Finance professional with CPA license and over 15 years strong experience in performing Cost and General Ledger accounting tasks, such as day-to-day cost accounting activities, month-end closes, quarterly standard cost analyses, inventory reconciliations and physical counts, calculation and roll-forwards of E&O and LCM inventory reserves, computation of standard costs and overhead rates annually, recording and tracking fixed assets, recording and amortizing prepaid expense accounts, and preparing reports to management within the manufacturing industry.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, Pivot Table, Sumif, Sumcount), Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Infimacs, NetSuite, and Foss, QAD.

Fluent in English and Vietnamese, verbal and written communication. Also knowledgeable in various accounting principles and frameworks such as IFRS and US GAAP. Highly organized and detail oriented.

Record and reconcile fixed assets and depreciation. Review fixed assets with management quarterly. Confirm annually the details of fixed assets with subcontractors, foundries, and in-house personnel. Maintain detailed record of every fixed asset.

Prepare and file 571L report with Santa Clara County. Coordinate audit work with Santa Clara auditor every four years.

Prepare financial packages. Prepare monthly financial highlights and quarterly flux analyses for Controller, GM, and CFO to support higher management decision making.

Check spreadsheets for SOX compliance to support internal control as well as work with external auditors

Prepare Capital Expenditure Budget, help to prepare P&L, BS Budget, and Forecast.

Participation in SAP implementation.

Achievements:

Successfully developed and implemented an Excel spreadsheet to automatically calculate the same part number, but differentiate subcontractors’ build and costs. This automated process has resulted in a significant time savings.

Took on the responsibility of the preparation of tax form 571L, which saved the cost of hiring a tax professional.
