In USAA, Enterprise Financial Crimes Management (EFCM) needs to have the ability to monitor data volume, data integrity, and data synchronization per the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) 2011-12 guidelines to ensure proper implementation of models, effective systems integration and appropriate use. EFCM data environment has to strengthen the ability to identify suspicious financial activity and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines.
As part of this project, the existing user interfaces are simplified to make the ECAMS DQ process store the Batch and Real-Time messages and the Monetary transaction events from all source systems into the ECAMS Database so that we will be able to identify the number of messages that failed at ECAMS.
This project allows us to access how many records are processed for a particular day for a particular message type as all the Batch and Real-Time messages and the Monetary transaction events from all source systems are stored in the ECAMS tables for Data quality check. It also helps in protecting the organization against fraudulent activities.

We need to develop UI components for the IBM Cognos ICM tool which helps the end-users carry out day-to-day operational activities and load the monthly files received from various sources to staging databases.

Description
AIG is a leading U.S.-based international insurance organization and is among the largest underwriters of commercial and industrial coverage in the United States. Its member companies write property, casualty, marine, life, and financial services insurance in approximately 130 countries and jurisdictions, and are engaged in a range of financial services businesses.
This project is to eliminate the manual process of collating and mailing the policy to the broker by introducing web-based access to search policies and transactions which will give the external users (Brokers) the flexibility of receiving policies in electronic format the next day after issuance, instead of waiting for the policy to arrive via regular mail, reducing the number of days the broker has to wait for the policy. This system will also reduce the number of copies that need to be printed by AIG. In addition, this will also allow a broker to check on the status of their submission and eliminate the need to contact the Underwriter or the Customer Care center, thereby improving and streamlining the overall process.
Responsibilities:
Extracting data from different sources like Oracle, Sybase, and Mainframe DB2 and transforming them using business logic and loading the data to the target warehouse using the Data Stage Built-in Passive stages like ODBC, ORACLE8i, Sequential files, and Hashed files for look-ups.
