In collaboration with the Health Center Medical director, design culturally appropriate SRH/FP and STI/HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns.
Organize accurate and relevant SRH/FP content material for the house-to-house visits conducted by the community health workers.
In collaboration with medical director update health messages timely.
Design and conduct training/workshops on relevant SGBV, SRH and HIV/STIs activities.
Assist medical director to design activities that ensure that partners are imparting correct and accurate information regarding SGBV, SRH/FP and STI/HIV.
Assist community health workers in processing, monitoring and follow-up of women who have received contraceptives methods from MCH and health center.
Participate in monthly coordination meetings with other implementing partners & another department of RRS/ARRA.
Write and submit weekly and monthly reports on all activities in which the RH officer has been involved.
Any other relevant activities or duties as deemed by the clinical team leader or medical director.
Ensures that each community health workers are allocated with a reasonable number of households/blocks for various health activities.
Provides on job mentoring and support to the community health workers during house-to- house visit, community level meeting.
Evaluates each midwife performance on quarterly basis, properly documents the evaluation result and takes actions to solve gaps identified.
Regularly checks midwife weekly report and registration books, provides necessary feedback within one week period, and document the progress in each community health workers personal file.
Consistently utilizes standardized reporting and data collection formats within the camps.
Ensures that all data are sex dis-aggregated.

Grant Management
Follows all RRS/ARRA standard grant Management tools as recommended by the camp management and Assosa program office-based health units and M&E unit as well.
Ensures that all activities are implemented according to the work plan and that targets are met.
Budget Monitoring
Work closely with the program officer in management of the grant budget.
Raise purchase requests (PRs) as required after discussion with colleagues. Monitoring and Evaluation
Monitors the implementation of Reproductive health & HIV/AIDS activities in the health center.
Ensure that the stared goals and objectives of the reproductive health program are met.
Assist the public health team leader design activities that ensure partners are imparting correct and accurate information regarding RH/FP and STI/HIV/AIDS.
Work with HIV officer in the processing, monitoring and follow-up of commodities like condom uptake and women who have received FP methods through community- based distribution.
Write and submit monthly reports to the clinical team leader on all activities in which the midwife has been involved.
Human Resource Management
Responsible for the management and supervision of the midwife and community health workers (CHWs) in the health center.
