Following are the components covered in this project & my responsibilities: - 1) Education in Emergency & School Rehabilitation
2) Child Protection
3) Climate Change
4) Food, Security & Livelihood Support
Responsibilities: -
· Part of enrollment campaign in all 5 selected schools.
· Part for formation of School Management Committee (SMC) & detailed briefing about school rehabilitation.
· Selection of Schools in both UCs as per donar’s following criteria 1) School’s proper access
2) Students Strength must be around 80 to 100,
3) Technical assessment of building & WASH facilities
· Arrangement of Safe Temporary learning spaces for children till school rehabilitation complete & handover.
· Preparation of initial school feasibility (Proper School access for all, Condition of Boundary wall, Condition of building ro of, Condition of classrooms ceiling inside, Condition of flooring, Condition of available washroom, Water source & water facility inside washrooms, Hand wash facility, Safe drinking water facility, Condition of plaster overall, Proper stairs & Ramp access for PWD from school’s main gate/ entrance & ramp facility towards classroom & washroom. Commode facility in washroom for PWD, Solar and DC motor availability, Electrification, AC/DC Fans, Condition of doors, windows & ventilators for classrooms & washrooms, Walking pathways facility) included school drawing & proposed works.
· Complete schools measurement alongwith pictures for Pre & Post affected. Preparation of BOQs, coordination for review/revisions from donar & finalization for tendering process & selection of vendor.
· Plan for Rehabilitation works.
· Implementation of rehabilitation works from selected vendor.
· To ensure construction layout at school according to BOQ to start the works.
· To ensure quality control during rehabilitation works including material/installations.
· To ensure the safety measures during school rehabilitation.
· To ensure water TDS & PH level testing & detailed laboratory tests.
· Daily & weekly updates/reports for rehab activities to Internal TKF management & Donar.
· To deliver Hygiene awareness sessions to community to prevent open defecation, Proper Hand washing, Safe drinking water, Cleanliness for themselves & overall.
· Participation in Child Protection awareness sessions to community to ensure their roles & responsibilities. Also participation in awareness sessions of climate change for early warnings and FSL activities especially in drought areas for seed, fodder, vaccination & cash assistance for livelihood support.
· To celebrate the special days in communities like World literacy day, World Children day, World climate day, World hand washing day, World Water day & World Toilet day.
