Shaby is a SHEQ professional with extensive experience in Mining, Manufacturing, and Processing Industries. Proven track record of driving zero-harm cultures, implementing effective SHEQ management systems, and leading cross-functional teams. Currently serving as SHEQ Superintendent at Glenrise Investments, overseeing Zimplats' operations across multiple sites, including Ngwarati Mine, Rukodzi Mine, Bimha Mine, Mupani Mine, Ngezi Concentrator and Selous Metallurgical Complex. Successfully leading a team of SHEQ Officers, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: -
- Develop IMS and measure the effectiveness, level of implementation, and conformity to corporate SHEQ standards; ISO 14001:2015; ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 criteria at operations.
- Ensure fulfilment to compliance obligations i.e. underground SHEQ laws, standards, guidelines, procedures and reporting systems to ensure business operates in a compliant, safe, and responsible manner.
- Involved in maintaining IMS systems ensuring that occupational hazards, environmental aspects and actions to address risks and opportunities are consistently identified, assessed, prioritized and managed.
