As a Food and beverage graduate working in outside catering my duties and responsibilities were

Event planning and coordination- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs, preferences and event details, help plan menus, set up timelines and coordinate logistics.

Menu Development- Assist in creating customized menus that align with the client`s vision and dietary requirements.

Food preparation and presentation- Oversee or participate in the preparation, cooking and ensuring the food is prepared according to safety standards and meets quality expectations.

Staff Management- Supervise and train catering staff, including servers, chefs and other team members. Assign tasks and ensure smooth operation during the event.

Client Communication- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the planning process and during the event. Address any issue or changes promptly.

Setup and cleanup- Manage the setup of food stations, dining areas and equipment. Ensure efficient cleanup after the event including the proper handling and disposal of waste.

Health and Safety Compliance- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations including proper food handling, sanitation, and equipment maintenance.
