Has17 years of experience in the field of Materials, Pharmacy-Warehouse, Supply chain management, Inventory, Purchase Management, out of which 3 years overseas experience in a Super Specialty Hospital in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Special skills Materials Management, Supply chain distribution in planning, assessment, and procurement, Administration and supervising of various departments as and when assigned. Overall Responsibilities and duties performed:

Materials Manager - Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Inventory Control Planning, Assessment, Budget Preparation and other assigned activities.

PHARMACY ACTIVITIES- Supervision of the Pharmacy Stores for increasing the sales, by educating the lower staff, Giving proper directions to the patients through the sales staff, motivating the patients and staff in coordination with the doctors, minimal stock maintenance wih no stockouts.

Periodical check of the High Value High Cost Durgs, near expiry / expired items and taking necessary action.

Suggestion to the management for product and brands for Cost control activity.

To ensure zero stock outs of the pharmacy items.

Fixing of Par levels. Perpetual and Cycliic Inventories.

Generation, consolidation, compilation of the data from HIS for the MIS Reports weekly / Monthly or as and when required.

Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system and documents.

Codification of the materials, Categorization, Classifications. Bin Allocation.

Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.

Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.

Coordination with various departments for booking of the consumption items in the system and have a glance of the inventory at various points.

Arranging the meetings with intra and internal departments and sorting out the problems. Plan work routines, assign tasks appropriately.

Monitoring the activities for services, and delivery, & other duties as assigned.

PROCUREMENT -of all the Pharmaceutical, Medical & Non Medical supplies, required for the entire hospital set-up, ensuring no downtime of operations or stock-outs

Carrying out Value Analysis, Purchasing Research activities and maintenance of records and generation of all MIS involved in purchase operations.

Coordination to minimize lead time in procurement of goods and in standardization.

Reviewing all the purchase requisitions prior to ordering to ensure that proper authorization has been made and requests for a review of the same if felt necessary.

Coordinating with user departments for specifications and quality of required items in the event of any doubts.

Vendor development/management, calling for Quotations, bid tabulation, negotiations, Screening, Finalization of purchase orders as per Reorder Level.

MATERIALS /SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT - Chalk out the SOP as per the norms, rules and principles of the organization.

Supervision of Stores for receiving as per Purchase Order, Proper Entries in the system for batch no., strength, prices, expiry dates, and other details.

To carry out ABC, FSN Analysis for Pharmacy & Medical Materials on a periodical basis & to take corrective steps accordingly.

Fixing of quantities for ROL and raising the PR accordingly. (weekly / Fortnightly/Monthly)

Fixing the PAR level for all the sub stores in the system as well as maintaining the BIN CARD for each.

To carry out Perpetual and Cyclic Inventory monthly, quarterly and annually with the involvement of Internal Audit and Finance team.

To carry out the High value / Near Expiry check every month.

Supervising the Issues to various departments / sub stores / OP Pharmacy / IP Pharmacy along with the documentations.

Follow FIFO and ensure efficient space utilization Initiate, coordinate; enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

Random auditing of the materials / stores / sub stores / departments.

Setting of goals, objectives & targets for the subordinate staff (KRA).

Verification of Expiry drugs / surgical materials periodically and taking proper steps for liquidation by circulating the list to doctors or for return to vendors thus by reducing the inventory cost.
