Responsible for the design of mechanical components and electrical enclosures, using Inventor and AutoCad.

Prepare mechanical drawings of transformers in accordance with customer specification and established formats.

Review and analyze a variety of engineering data, customer specifications, documents and reports. Consult with engineering team and sales team to ensure the criteria are suitable for the proposed application and meet customer requirements. Supports manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts. Design fixtures and jigs to increase productivity of the production floor. Provide technical support to the customer. Coordinated, completed and documented the design of Carbonated Filling Machines and Tote Dumpers.

Carbonated Fillers are supplied in many sizes and options, and they are typically used for filling beer or Kombucha. Tote Dumpers deliver caps to high production packaging lines. Prepared detail, production and assembly drawings applying industry and company standard, using the latest version of SolidWorks, and DraftSight when needed. Knowledge of the shop workflow as all the equipment is a combination of sheet metal parts, machined parts, welded parts and purchased parts. Reduced cost, lead time and number of parts in stock. Worked on Engineering Change Notice (ECN) or Engineering Change Request (ECR) when necessary. Assisted in creating technical specifications. Created and maintained Bill of Materials. Worked with Technical Writers in creating documentation for spare part list and developed and updated the Use & Maintenance Manual. Created and maintained Bill of Materials and component master lists. Designed the new filling-capping machine FC series from Chairman’s newly conceived concept to final product.
