Written new Batch programs and Stored procedures for Retail Automated Product Information and Distribution System. Modified existing CICS and Batch modules and Db2 Stored procedure in preparation for system migration to SAP. Responsibilities included: program specifications, program coding, testing, and moving to production.

All work was done under Z/OS. Using JCL, VSAM, Enterprise Cobol with Stored procedures. Utilized SPUFI and QMF to drop and create stored procedures, run DB2 queries

Participated in the design and development, maintenance and enhancement of Pricing Securities System. Prices and Factors for each active CUSIP are gathered from various vendors to calculate the market price. We multiply passthrough securities Price by Factor. If no price is available for that CUSIP for the current date a previous business day price is to be used in calculation depending on a type of security. All data is validated and inserted into CPD Table (Central Processing Database). CPD database contains data for the current date. All data is transmitted to distributed. Prices are being received and calculated on intraday and end of day bases. For Historical purposes data is being sent to Datawarehouse for storage. Pricing system was mostly written in COBOL, using SQL DB2 store procedures.

Responsibilities included: multilevel participant interface, program maintenance, creating new modules and updated existing stored procedure. Written client documentation and provided production coverage. Users were able to use CICS Pricing screens: PRCI function for inquiries, PRCE update, PRCG approval.

All work was done under OS/MVS. using JCL, Enterprise Cobol, VSAM, CICS, DB2 with Stored Procedures. Autosys. Utilized SPUFI and QMF to drop and create stored procedures, run DB2 queries

Designed, coded, maintained and performed enhancement of an in-house Application PMD (Process and Move Data). This application enables Mainframe files to be transmitted from mainframe production source to production or all lower environments servers simultaneously on distributed side. Utilizing DB2 tables, web screens to insert and update values on the PMD databases. Most of the modules were written COBOL, DB2, Stored Procedure in Batch and Distributed environment under OS/MVS. Participated in the development, maintenance and enhancement of DTCC Billing and Finance System.CBL / UBS / OBL Billing Subsystems accept, validate and process all DTCC Billing Data from all DTCC Products such as Settlement, OMGEO and others. All input data are validated and inserted into Billing CBL Tables. The billing process was run daily, weekly and monthly bases. Mostly done on MF, with some On-Line Processing. Clients can enter their transactions using CICS Billing Subsystem – CHBL. At the beginning of the next month, all billing data processed by the UBS Billing Subsystem is sent to Metro Net Software, that will produce / generate the invoices for all participants / accounts involved in the DTCC.

All work was done under OS/MVS, using JCL, Cobol, VSAM, CICS, DB2. Utilized SPUFI and QMF to drop and create stored procedures run DB2 queries.

In addition to tasks and applications listed above participated in Disaster Recovery providing production support. Was heavily involved in maintenance, testing, production support of Y2K changes on Billing, Pricing and Participant Fund applications for batch and on-line modules. Participated in maintenance testing production deployments on various other in-house applications.
