Proprietor, Cyril Consultants November 2015 – Present Accounting & Financial Boutique firm, engaged in varied projects spread across account book keeping, financial analysis & performance metrics, Operational Processes Transformation, ERP implementation Functional Consultancy and Back-office support setup Following is some of the Projects undertaken so far:

* Functional Consulting for AP (incl. P2P, Fixed Assets, Cash Management) module for implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP for US IT client: 8 geographies, US $130m turnover, non-synchronised processes across entities. Led the liaising & preparation of Business Requirement and GAP assessment report

* Project management Lead and Functional Consulting for implementation of Workday financials ERP for French PE backed Customer Management Company

Region Netherlands: 10 entities, 2 countries, Eur 160m turnover. Project is live in 5 months. This project was taken over midway during architect and design phase, when issues were being faced by the client in project management operations

Region Greece: 5 entities, 2 countries. Limited resources on client side for execution; thus, assumed an additional role of end-user from client side and in-depth involvement during designing and testing phase

Region UK: 9 entities, 3 countries, Eur 200m turnover. Project was completed in record 4 months, with no major issues post go-live

Region Nordics: 10+ entities, 9 countries. No Synchronized processes across countries, multiple charts of accounts followed. Initial step was to standardise one process, before moving onto Workday ERP

* Transformation of Month-end process for US-based PE backed client. This involved understanding of current business flow and Specific requirement(s) of Stakeholders. Automation of reporting & analysis was done, wherever possible. Additional Dashboards were setup for monthly and quarterly analysis. Closing time was reduced by 3 days

* Set up of Budgeting and Forecasting process for India based Food & Beverage company having INR 500m turnover. This involved defining KPIs, computation of standard cost of materials, labour & overheads and setting up monthly process of measurement and performance analysis

* Set-up of Weekly Consolidated Cash Flow (weekly report, leading to the monthly) for French Headquartered BPO business, with Operations across Europe, Asia and South Africa. This involved discussion with individual countries to understand specific requirements and local compliances, if any. This incorporated multi-currency exchange rate conversions & fluctuations

* Conversion of UK GAAP accounting books into IFRS for UK based BPO client. This involved detailed working around revenue recognition and Transfer Pricing. Continual liaison with external and internal HQ auditors for accuracy and completeness of information Financial Analyst, Siemens Financial Services (SFS), UK April 2012 – July 2015 A leading Leasing Financing and Asset Management company; part of worldwide-known Siemens Group Role included:

* Collaborating role within the project team during financial implementation of SAP accounting system in completing functional and integration testing of P2P and Fixed Asset modules and provided training to non-finance people for operation system use
