Training / Technical Expert in Green Innovation Center Ethiopia-Value c h a i n development (GIC -VCD/GIZ (NOV 2017- MAR 2022 G.C) The core responsibilities include:-

- Implementing, train and mobilize farmers about national agricultural policy regarding a post- harvest handling strategy aiming to reduce post harvest-losses

- Working with partner organization to mobilize farmer and farmers organization (Co- operatives, Micro finance, input suppliers) on different agricultural techniques and forming cluster on (Wheat, Malt barley and Faba bean…) with other rotational crops

- Training the extension team, farmers to aquire an oriented market agriculture with high standard Products that satisfy the market exigencies and requirements

- Working effectively with the smart agricultural principle to enhance a greater profitability and suitable business and resilience for different shocks that threaten the agricultural productivity

- Conduct product demonstration, Presentation and training session for farmers on safe pesticide application procedure (both pest management and Agronomic practices) and how to calibrate farm equipment tools.

- Monitoring market trend and compotators activities to identify new business opportunities

- Manage product distribution by negotiating contracts with vendors and distributors.

- Develop and maintain close customer relations with key clients by providing professional agronomic advice and services

- Train farmers and farm sectors on newly arrived chemicals and organize or act as the liaison between the company and farmers to organize trial programs and assist with analyzing and reporting results
