PROJECT OVERVIEW:

CEC Tier 1 Transition - Establish federalized Tier 1 Operations within the USDA Customer Experience Center. The scope of this project is limited to a lift and shift of Tier 1 service operation duties from the incumbent vendor to federalized CEC Tier 1 Operations.

CEC Risk Management Program - Create a formalized framework for the Customer Experience Center to follow in risk identification, assessment, evaluation, monitoring, and mitigation, initially implemented in the Governance Services Division within CEC and subsequently roll out to the remaining CEC Divisions.

Field Service Modernization – Identify offices that can move en masse to the Serverless office concept for a broader implementation focused on priority sites to follow over a multi-year period. There are 3 components of this program: ShareDrive to SharePoint migration, Geo data user migration, Migrate MPS Print Queues onto virtual print servers in KCC. Once these 3 sub-projects have been verified as complete, end of life servers at the identified sites can be removed.

Office Designation in Systems (Remote Worker) – update CEC owned systems that contain CEC employee and CEC customer location information to new remote status

Ops Measurement Dashboard - develop a Power BI dashboard to monitor progress/success of the major CEC initiatives. This project is to centralize the Ops metrics, so that they are readily available for leadership consumption and to allow correlation between data points.

Operationalize the Endpoint Personas – Create and implement “IT Endpoint Personas” across all of the USDA to improve customer satisfaction, service and cost. Estimated to be a 6-year program to build, incorporate, and implement.

Customer IT Offboarding - Streamline and standardize enhanced employee offboarding processes that directly facilitate efficiency and mitigate existing equipment return pain points.
