12/2019 – 07/2023 MediaMonks / Google and YouTube accounts Remote

• Directed design and copy for Google Ads and YouTube Ads B2B marketing assets from conceptual ideation through production and release, including video, animation, illustration, and photography.

• Crafted complex B2B landing pages and onboarding email series to drive adoption and increase Google Ads revenues.

• Redesigned YouTube Ads website and updated design systems and email templates for use by all Google Ads agencies.

• Developed executive communications and special projects including a unified Google and YouTube sales pitch template, Google PRIDE identity, and others.

• Establishing brand and creative for the launch of The Roam™ Marketplace, a startup with a mission to transform the way people make local trips, saving money, time, and the climate, while strengthening communities.

• Partnering with founder to generate drafts of vision, mission, brand pillars, key messaging, and reasons to believe, as well as identity design, logotype, icon, copy and design direction for a website landing page.

• To get the app design prepared for engineering of an MVP, I’m also helping to visualize early wireframe concepts – and whatever else needs doing. Ultimately this will transfer to UI/UX experts.

• Electronic Arts was a client at my small design agency. We pitched and won Street Sk8er 2 and then several more games I.D. and key art projects. Later, I joined EA in- house for 9 years to become Senior Creative Director for brand and marketing, and later 4 more years as Senior Director of Creative for brand and marketing at Nexon M. 3 Tech Startups

• As lead for brand and creative for The Roam™ Marketplace, I’m helping to bring shared mobility to neighborhoods and communities. I also led brand and creative for Santa Cruz startup Tuul Inc. to establish text-based customer experience, and at Hardcloud.com, an action sports portal for surf, skate, snow, and mountain bikes. • Founded the action sports and youth culture ad agency Verb Design & Advertising, which operated profitably for 10 years with clients including: Airwalk, Electronic Arts, Fila, Rossignol, and a dozen other snowboarding startups and magazines. Art Directed Sports and Music Magazines

• Directed design and copy for eBay-owned ticket sales marketplace, driving integrated campaigns and multi-platform experiences on desktop, mobile, native app, and omni- channel marketing including print, OOH, radio, and broadcast.

• Aligned UX and marketing creative and creative teams to ensure a unified customer experience from marketing and advertising to in-product.

• Launched first ever NextStage Concert Series events to drive awareness, consideration, and adoption of ticket sales on website and native app. Captured video for use in post-even social and online marketing.
