• Provide onsite supervision to oversee the construction process and maintenance performed by private contractors; including but not limited to - reviewing blueprints, discussing construction needs with subcontractors, report requirements and maintain operation surveillance for plan conformance.
• Ensure that the budget is followed in terms of purchases and wages
. • Organize the workers and perform a daily inspection of their performance and safety to ensure that the stipulated safety rules and regulations are followed and met
. • Ensure that quality is preserved in the construction process and that the budget is maintained.
• Attend/Schedule meetings and plan project details as required with the Regional Area Manager, building inspector, sub-contractors and project foreman.
• Responsible for maintaining and submitting all required word documents and Excel/PDF forms on projects regarding inspections, worker time sheets and schedule changes.
• Meet with the government inspectors regarding the standard requirements of the site in terms of licenses and safety.
• Ensure that both health and safety project plans are implemented and followed on each individual job site.
• Supervise the sub-contractors and ensure that they are punctual and deliver as per contracted.
• Write and maintain project progress reports and communicate both orally and in writing any changes necessary to maintain schedule, budget and safety requirements.
