Given a profound professional experience as a Social service worker, with previous background in Nursing, Midwifery and Public health, I am eager to bring my skills in case management and community support services in your organization and I believe I will serve well if given opportunity. In spite of my social service work academic knowledge, my social service work experience at Catholic Cross-Cultural (CCS) and Catholic Community Services for York Region (CCSYR) has exposed me to work directly with newcomers, refugees and marginalized populations. My experience also improved my skills and capacity in client intake; client needs assessment, trauma informed consent, diversity, Client supportive and referral services. More so, in the course of my practice, I have proficient skills in OCMS, HARTs and ICARE case management system makes me an asset in ensuring accurate documentation, provision of comprehensive supportive services and client follow up. My prior background as a Nigeria Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife, and Public Health officer made me to be particularly passionate about helping the marginalized and vulnerable populations to overcome their various barriers and access the resources and supports they need. Being a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail, I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills align with the organization’s goals and I am optimistic that I am able to take on the responsibility of this position immediately and have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of it. 5
