CHENIERE ENERGY SABINE PASS LNG TERMINAL, Cameron, LA 2014 – 2018 PROJECT CONTROLS ADVISOR
A $43B LNG facility project faced operational inefficiencies and schedule delays. Establish governance, regain control over operational readiness schedules, and implement strategic cost control measures.
Implemented a web-based status reporting system, reducing P6 status reporting process time from 30 days to 30 minutes.
Led a $5M helicopter pad construction in a swampy area, completing the project in just 17 days, facilitating a Presidential visit.
Negotiated logistical contracts for 85 contractors and secured all construction materials within 12 hours. Successfully turned around multiple underperforming projects, optimized infrastructure builds worth $100M and positioned the facility for sustainable long-term operations.
Turned around underfunded, underperforming design-build of security infrastructure project valued at $42M.
Designed new, state-of-the-art, $23M operations and maintenance building on existing footprint and $5M parking lot on prior helicopter pad with controlled access points to accommodate 300 additional employees.
