1. Country SHEQ Officer – SABOT Group/ Cargo Carriers International Hauliers September 2017 – Present

I joined SABOT Group/ Cargo Carriers International Hauliers as an Assistant SHEQ Officer and after two years was promoted to Country SHEQ Officer.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Developing, implementing, and continuously improving SHEQ policies, systems, and procedures in line with national regulations and international best practices (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

Implementing and managing Safety Health Environment and Quality (SHEQ) systems in the organization and maintaining SHEQ Systems site scores over 80% and 90%,

Responsible for initiating safety and quality talks, ISO document amendments, ISO/SHE document/record management and production of SHEQ bulletins

Responsible for Internal SHEQ Reporting, including: accident statistics, driver scoring, group reporting, monthly medical and safety statistics and incident reports for first aid, medical treatment, lost time injuries

Conducting Investigations including: Accidents and incidents investigations, Audits and Inspections, Housekeeping Inspections, Internal Audits, Spot Audit, External Audits Hazard Identification and risk assessments
