Senior Member Technical Staff, Oracle Corp. March 2007 - March 2025 Implemented numerous redesigns of Oracle public and intranet web sites using different Content Management system products, including Stellent’s Site Studio, Oracle WebCenter Sites, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. These sites included oracle.com, my.oracle.com, java.com, developer.oracle.com, and bronto.com.

Implemented sub-sections of oracle.com for Marketing, such as Press Releases, CloudWorld, Site Maps, Success Stories, and Endeca forms.

Implemented a Java-based webhook that automatically sent updated content management metadata to outside search engine databases such as Endeca and Oracle OpenSearch. Worked together with Webstandards team to create company-wide definitions for templates and components to be used by all Oracle developers. This included headers, footers, breadcrumbs, navigation, tabs, etc. Senior Web Developer, Stellent, Inc. March 2001 - March 2007 Developed internet web sites www.stellent.com and www.stellentcrescendo.com. The development was done using HTML, javascript, Java, and idocscript (Stellent’s web scripting language). The production environment included Stellent’s Site Studio, Content Server, and Dynamic Converter products. Developed many web site integrations for stellent.com, including incorporating XML feeds of investor data from CCBN, training schedules from ViewCentral, and CRM information from salesforce.com. Developed numerous intranet web sites that enhanced the day-to-day functions of many employees. One site allowed employees to search the company-wide content management system. Another site allowed select users to contribute content to external web sites. Yet another site housed defect tracking and enhancement requests for company products.

Senior Internet Developer, VetConnect Systems, Inc. October 2000 - January 2001 Developed a Java servlet to collect web site metrics information for graphical reporting. The development was done using IBM Visual Age on a Linux (RedHat 7.0) workstation. Systems Integration Engineer, Hagen Systems, Inc. November 1994 - October 2000 Developed an XML interface to integrate information from an e-commerce web site with an existing ERP Print Management System. The XML contained Oracle data sent from a Cold Fusion web page to a listener program written in Progress 4GL.

Developed a browser-based shop floor data collection system using Java (Progress Apptivity) and Progress 4GL. Developed an interface between the browser application and a sensor attached to a printing press. This interface was written in C.

Designed and created Web applications for a corporate Intranet. The site enhanced internal communication and information sharing. Cold Fusion and CGI (written in C) were utilized along with multiple web servers. Designed and coded an ODBC interface for data access between PC applications and legacy D-ISAM databases on UNIX/AIX servers. The interface was written in C. Programmer Analyst, Teltech Resource Network January 1993 - November 1994 Participated in a two-year-long group project to create an online search engine and knowledge base. The coding was written in C on the UNIX platform.

Programmer Analyst, Hagen Systems, Inc. July 1985 - December 1992 Developed a real-time data collection system that uploads information from print shop floors to UNIX and AIX host systems. The software was written in C. Administrated a 40-user SCO UNIX environment. This included writing maintenance shell scripts, printer interfaces, and system backup programs.

Completed software migrations from IRIS to UNIX, UNIX to AIX, and UNIX to SCO Xenix. Code was written in C and updated for portability to include ANSI standards and machine dependencies. Assisted in the design and implementation of a BASIC-to-C interpreter, enabling thousands of lines of BASIC code to execute on UNIX-based systems without modification. SKILLS
