Hyper-hybrid remotely underwrote Flood Insurance for NFIP Direct while under contract with FEMA. The position required passing a FEMA background check through The Department of Homeland Security. Job expectations were to field calls and chats from Insurance Agents and calls with Policy Holders. The remainder of the time was used in Underwriting assorted areas of flood insurance. Including but not limited to, Underwriting New Business, Renewals, Cancellations and Special Projects while occasionally supporting the Claims Department.
