Application for Event Organization

• Design and developed a full-stack web application to manage conferences and professional events, streamlining end-to-end event organization.

Quoting Portal [Employer]

• Developed UI screens for an insurance quoting system, initially launched in a specific state. The system allowed users to explore and generate insurance quotes for medical, dental, and vision plans.

• The goal was to provide a seamless quoting experience for both guest users and registered users. Guests needed the ability to enter basic details, start a quote, review plans, and download or email their quotes. Logged-in users needed their quotes to be mapped to their accounts, along with additional features like profile management and broker connections.

• Designed and implemented user-friendly screens for both guest and login flows. I ensured guests could create multiple quotes without restrictions and that their data was retained upon login. I also developed a dashboard with functionalities such as email sending, quote management, and broker interactions.

• The application provided a smooth and efficient quoting experience, allowing users to generate and manage insurance quotes easily. It improved user engagement, streamlined broker interactions, and made insurance selection more accessible for customers.

Quoting Portal [Large Group]

• Developed a large-group insurance quoting application using a micro front-end architecture with React.js, integrated into multiple portals, including Salesforce applications. The system streamlined the quoting and group management process for brokers, employers, and account managers.

• The goal was to enable account managers to review and manage group details, update plan selections, upload and edit documents, control document visibility, and release the group to brokers or employers. Once approved through a Kafka mechanism, brokers and employers needed access to view documents, select plans, upload necessary files, and submit the final application.

• Implemented a micro front-end structure that seamlessly integrates with Salesforce applications. When a group is received via a feed, a unique URL is generated, allowing account managers to access and process the group. I designed role-based access, ensuring that account managers, brokers, and employers could perform their respective actions efficiently. Additionally, the Kafka-based approval workflow ensured smooth communication between different portals.

• The application significantly improved efficiency in managing large- group insurance quotes. It enabled seamless collaboration between account managers, brokers, and employers, reducing manual effort and ensuring a structured approval and submission process. The micro front-end approach provided flexibility and scalability, allowing integration across multiple platforms with a consistent user experience. Quoting Portal [Broker]

• The Broker Portal needed to streamline plan renewals for brokers, support both digital and traditional methods, and enhance user management, quoting, and commission tracking functionalities.

• Develop and implement several features to improve the Broker Portal, including digital plan selection, User Management, integration of the SGQ Quoting Tool, and an enhanced commissions system.

• Specialized in assisting brokers with plan renewals, allowing easy digital plan selection for groups or individuals, including adding special products and using DocuSign for digital signatures.

• Played a key role in adding User Management, enabling internal users to manage access levels. Designed a user-friendly interface for admins to add, view, edit, or remove users.

• Developed SGQ Quoting Tool into the Broker Portal, giving internal users full control over group creation, quote generation, and detail adjustments. Brokers could create or edit quotes for existing groups with access to various plan options like medical and dental.

• Enhanced the commissions system, providing brokers with insights into their earnings over the past two years and access to detailed statements for group and Medicare commissions.
