●The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is responsible for building, maintaining, and operating the commonwealth's roads, bridges, and tunnels.
●As a Business Analyst in the Business Integrated Solutions Division, I perform process engineering activities, lead projects, and support district and division projects that aim to drive continuous improvement, improved operational efficiencies, scalability and utilization of VDOT's resources.
●The project management activities performed in this role range from small inquiry requests received from district or division to requests that result in leading or supporting a complex, multi-phased projects and automation.
●The project activities can also include performing an Enterprise Architecture Napkin Level Assessment (initial project value). These cost analysis/value assessments involve engaging with the product/business owner and members of the Information Technology Division, to gather and compile the information required for the analysis.
●Our division receives various project requests, which we are required to work with various executive level stakeholders until conclusion of project.
