• Volunteer and Tax Preparer, IRS VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance): The Milgard School of Business at UW Tacoma offers free federal income tax assistance through the IRS VITA program from January 31 to April 15, 2025. This service supports lower-income individuals and families in the South Sound community, including those who make $70,000 or less, persons with disabilities, and limited English-speaking taxpayers. Eligible community members can schedule appointments online or by phone to receive in-person assistance from IRS- certified volunteers.
