Marriott Worthington Renaissance, Ft Worth, TX February 2017 – November 2024 General Accounting/General Cashier – I am in charge of the hotel safe, keeping up with associates assigned a bank and keeping them balanced. Making cash deposits, as well as change orders. Making Group Payed outs when requested by groups in house. Checking out guests booked using Expedia. Correcting any overcharges/duplicate posts on guests folio if any happen. Reconcile our audio visual billing account down to a zero balance before end of the month deadline. Loss Prevention – Monitor CCTV for the hotel, respond to distress calls and preform wellness checks on guests when requested. Insure safety in lobby. Patrol each floor, walking to check points every hour. Receiving/Purchasing Clerk - Receive produce, products and any deliveries to hotel, operate forklift when needed. Maintain the stock in the fridges, freezers and dry storeroom following “FIFO” First in First Out. Keep up with tidiness of each location.
Two times a week go through each location taking count of products and determine what is needed to be ordered to come in.
Place each order through different companies via phone or computer. Monthly take inventory over all items as well track the amount taken and cost per item by each individual department.
