Objective: Work in the Administrative Office position that I can specialize in one department. I can do all functions of an Office Manager and are open to it. Most importantly, want to work for an environment where I am appreciated and rewarded for my hard work. Work History:
Billing AP/AR and Compliance Specialist
Volta Logistics, Inc.-Minneapolis, MN
June 2023 to Present
Started in Accounts payable which I took calls, emails to provide excellent customer service to our carriers, AP invoicing, data entry. Moved onto compliance, compliance is making sure our carriers are up to par to take our specialized loads. That was researching multiple databases to make sure truck drivers are in compliance with the rules and regulations for our customers. Making sure they had all insurance/valid business licenses needed, and all around if they were a good carrier to prevent theft and double broker loads. Then went into AR. When I started, they had a very high rate of non paying customers. I went in and completely revamped the system to run smoothly. I built client relationships, making sure invoicing was accurate. Data entry, AR invoicing, running their specialized programs to manage Accounts receivable. Collections were my specialty. We have now a very low rate of non-paying customers.

Office Manager but was known as the Secretary. I was at the front desk so incoming mail/phone calls were distributed to the correct departments. Accounts Payable, All incoming invoices were audited and billed by me to reach Accounts Receivable Departments. I entered and audited to make sure A/R is coded and billed. AP then I would gather so all bills matched and were entered into the system. The owner only clicked a button, I would make sure all journal entries are correct. A/R I wrote up all service invoices and some parts invoices to be process and match our PO system. A/R collections was done on a weekly basis. I took all cc, cash, wire, check payments and reconciled AR accounts to be correct. I did all warranties to various vendors with gathering information from Mechanics to process the best refund. Everyday office work, filing, end of month, end of year, all special projects supported sales, services and parts. I trained entire staff on our software system and ran parts inventory.
