Summit Delivery Lead – East Africa Region Global Health Security Summit January 2025 – February 2025

1.Successfully convened the Inaugural East Africa Region Global Health Security Summit from 28th – 30th January 2025 in Mombasa, Kenya, bringing together over 300 delegates from 11 East African countries.

2.Provided technical support in the planning and execution of summit activities, including workshops, panel discussions, and joint training programs focused on health security.

3.Effectively managed logistical arrangements, including travel, accommodation, catering, and venue preparations, ensuring seamless event execution.

4.Led strategic promotion efforts, leveraging networks, media channels, and social media to enhance summit visibility and attendance.

5.Provided technical support in resource mobilization, identifying and securing funding, sponsorships, and resources to sustain the summit and related initiatives.

Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat, Nairobi

1.Successfully convened a media launch for various stakeholders in public and private sector, the 14 member states of the East Africa CDC, University of Nebraska Medical Centre, among others, in preparation for the East Africa Region Global Health Security Summit 2025.

2.Developed and implemented national policies by coordinating multi-stakeholder engagement across government agencies, development partners, and civil society organizations.

3.Developed the organization's National Tree Planting Strategy and successfully facilitated the planting of over 10,000 tree seedlings across the country.

4.Played a key role in developing the Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat Strategic Plan for the period 2023 – 2027.

5.Successfully implemented the Kenya Vision 2030 Ruwaza Forum project that brings together various stakeholders in different sectors of government to discuss critical emerging issues and identify strategies to unlock bottlenecks.
