This position was working with a consulting company that supports HUD organization of the United States government. The role is to design, implement and support the organizations IT infrastructure which includes a mixture of virtualization products like VMWare, Citrix Nutanix and Hyper-V running Microsoft and Linux operating systems. This position also has responsibilities to build and support in the Office365 and Azure cloud environment that housed email, SSO application, Teams, SharePoint, etc. I am also the Subject matter expert for their Commvault Disaster Recovery/Backup solution mixed with virtualization redundancy like VMWare DRS.

Monroe Energy Sr Systems Engineer

This position was a company/infrastructure growth position. The primary responsibilities for this position were to design, test, implement and support the company IT infrastructure. Including the replacement of many solutions that were implemented 7 years ago when the company started up.

These systems are designed to be highly secure as high-availability 24 X 7 solutions using Vmware 6.5 and including the Horizon View and Citrix based virtualization products.

Server support, including: management & support of the multiple Domains, Server and Workstation infrastructure and control network for the plant control systems; daily maintenance & monitoring of servers, SANs, virtual infrastructure, backups; application of security and functional patches & virus updates on all servers and workstations; manage the administration of Servers, Active Directory and various third-party applications.

This environment is a 5 Petabyte environment with 1200+ servers that consist of 700+ virtual servers, 500+ physical servers running in a VMWare environment with a mix of Exchange servers, SQL Servers, Oracle Servers, etc.

Sr Systems Engineer Consultant

This role is with a startup IT consulting company that specializes in SharePoint in the past and is trying to startup an Information Technology Infrastructure consulting group.

In this role I went on sales calls, designed and implemented Information Technology solutions for the customers from virtualization, backup/recovery solutions to Exchange and Office365 migrations. We also provided a weekly or monthly technical services visit to handle maintenance and 2nd or 3rd level of support to their infrastructure technologies.
