Supervision of drilling operations in the Eagle Ford formation in South Texas area. Typically would involve the drilling of curve or turnazontal type well to be landed at 10,000 TVD with a total vertical section of up to 8,000 ft. on a down dip formation. BHA consist of steerable directional assemblies as well as rotary steerable BHA’s. Drill hole sizes of 6” to 8
” in the lateral with OBM systems .WBM systems are sometimes used but with greater difficulty. Wells would involve multiple strings of casing with 13 3/8” surface casing, 9 5/8” intermediate casing, 7” liners, and 5 ” production casing. Drilling extended reach well / Horizontal
On a 2 well pad location w/ 20” conduction was preset. Drill 17” surface hole to 300’ w/ WBM. Set and cemented 13 3/8” casing and circulated cement to surface. Nipple up 13 5/8” 10K BOP stack. Drill out with 12 ” bit . At 350’ kicked out 2 degree / 100’. Build up to 4 degree. Hold 4 degree to 5,400’ at 225 azimuth. Dropped back to vertical and TD 12 ” hole at 6,800’. w/ WBM Corbonox / gel mud system. Set 9 5/8” casing and cemented. Drilled out shoe with 8 ” conventional BHA. Displaced to OBM. Continue to drill vertically to 8,900’. Start build 8 degree/ 100’ at 141 degree azimuth. To 9,463 feet hold 45 degree and turn to 133.75 azimuth. Continue to build at 8 degrees / 100’ to landing point @ 9,990 at 86.5 deg inclination. With 132 azimuth. 9600’ TVD . Drill lateral with a 20’ window at 85.6 deg inclination to 17,382 MD at 10,080 TVD. 7,400’ of vertical section. Drilled well with 550 psi differential in production interval @ 500 GPM with 1.5 motor with .497 rev per/ gallon. ROP average 100 plus feet/ hr. Drilling slightly underbalanced. Moved on multi well pad location on 15’ spacing with 17” conductor preset at 80’. Pick up 12 ” air hammer bit. Drill with air hammer to 2,300’ and set 9 5/8” casing. Cement to surface, nipple up BOP stack. Pick up 8 ” air hammer bit and air drill to 5600’. Displace well to OBM POOH and pick up directional assembly . Drill vertically to KOP at 8,300 feet. Drilled at 6 degrees per hundred at 112 deg azimuth. To landing point a 9,800 feet w/t 91.2 degrees inclination . Drilled lateral with 12’ window to a measured depth of 15,340’. 5,540 vertical section. Drilled w/ 500 GPM w 1.18 motor with .5 rev/gal. at a ROP of 127 ft/hr Drilling with balance mud wt. 11/2011 -03/2012

12/06 to 10/2010 –ACI- Shell Auger/Brutus/URSA TLP GOM. Drilling & Completions Supervisor. SHELL OIL COMPANY, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Rig Supervisor – Project drilling and Completions foreman, Gulf of Mexico in the Shell TLP deepwater group. Slot recovery operations on Brutus TLP cutting & retrieving 7” production tubing string, setting bridge plugs, balanced cement plugs, whipstock setting & casing window milling operations to facilitate drilling new production wellbore. Sidetracking A-4 wellbore with rotary steerable LWD tools employing managed pressure drilling techniques and equipment through variable frac pressure stability windows including pipe-conveyed logging tools with side-entry sub with annular external wireline. Cleaned and opened A-4 wellbore with 7” devil drill hole opener and Schlumberger Stethoscope tool acquiring direct formation pore pressure readings and fluid samples in the H2 and G series sands. Successfully installed 5.5” liner with Drill-Quip liner hanger assembly at 16,000 feet and cemented liner in place. Circulate & reverse circulate wellbore clean using ball-actuated circulating valve just above liner top. Set CIBP above liner shoe. Run segmented bong log, pulse decay and gammas ray logs. Run casing scrapers through wellbore. Displace wellbore to CaBr2. Wellbore recompletion with gas lift mandrels, sub-surface safety valve, mud line tubing hanger and bottom hole pressure sensor with control lines.
