years and going.

Scotland SD I worked with Dakota Senior Meals for over twelve years. I managed my own Senior Meals

site for several years before becoming the

Director of Senior Meals for South Dakota.

In this position, I managed twenty- two

Meal sites throughout southeastern South

Dakota, forty-four staff, payroll, accounts

Receivable, accounts payable, Human

Resources, funding, grant writing, fundraising,

budgeting, and accounting.

For the past seven years I have worked as a

Special Education Paraprofessional at Scotland

School. During this time, I have been awarded

Special Education Teacher of the Year from the

South Dakota Department of Education. I am

a certified Behavioral Specialist. I understand

the importance of Special Education and the IEP.

I prioritize the needs of each student and build

the relationships that are needed to help them

achieve their goals.
