SUMMARY PROFILE

Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics and operations in Health and Non Health Commodities.

•Coordinating logistics support to ensure the management of supplies, including but not limited to:

o management systems to record,

o track and report receipt, storage,

otransportation and distribution of supplies

opromoting coordinated approaches and the implementation of logistics strategies and policies; adapting guidelines to respond to Zimbabwe specific needs.

•Contributing to capacity building; and developing and managing work plans within the framework of the Government of Zimbabwe and PRAZ Procurement regulations.

•Coordinate local and national procurement including planning, sourcing of suppliers, management and evaluation of bid and contract management.

•Manage and oversee the supply chain to ensure efficient delivery of goods and services.

•Oversee inventory controls to ensure accurate stock records and sufficient stock levels are kept.

•Strategic sourcing of organisational products

•Providing Technical Assistance in undertaking high level ministerial and stakeholder consultative meetings and consensus building including highly sensitive matters such as procurement of critical care equipment, adoption of monitoring tools such as Electronical Logistics Management Systems ( e-LMIS).

•Providing quality coordination and liaison to enhance cooperation among development partners and private sector in health logistics and procurement matters.

•Expedition of products as per contractual obligations to meet targets.

•Leading and supervising the Procurement Management team

•Upholds key personal values of integrity, professionalism, respect for diversity & do no harm and accountability in delivering my roles and services.

•Have fine knowledge of my country, Zimbabwe, able to develop and maintain logistics which are sensitive in the provision of health service delivery especially as it pertains to the possible achievement of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

•Handle complains and issues and ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
