-Released new technologies, specifications and standards, DFMEAs. And also managed a variety of products, such as Inverters, Voltage Stabilizers, Bridge parts, High Voltage Connections/Distribution Strategy, Overhead Consoles, Starters,

Wiring.

-Conducted Energy Studies for Electrical Components ensuring Stop/Start was properly supplied.

-Developed and managed bridge parts for multiple vehicle lines. Including all common components.

-Worked in team that developed the first HVIL DFMEA.

-Reduced $6M in initial inverter sourcing.

-Completed PSO, with all tooling required and before PVP, for the first time in Chrysler history dealing with wiring products.

-Improved design achieving ZERO WARRANTY REPLACEMENTS for electrical harnesses in August 2001.

-Achieved savings $10 million to our customer and Excel resolving Quality issues.

-Launched components international production in Brazil and Mexico.

OPERATIONS MANAGER Expanded the shirring operation from Spain to the United States. Developed the Business Plan in coordination with Marketing and Finance. Development and implementation of operations strategy, quality procedures (ISO9000) and total production maintenance (4/95-3/96).

-Launched US process with 40% better quality than the imports and achieved profitability in less than six months ($2.9 million sales).

ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR. Reduce warranty increasing production. Process Development, APQP, facilities, tooling and safety/HazMat (9/93-4/95).

-Upgraded department to World Class and obtained Chrysler PPAP.

-Obtained EPA & TNRCC clearance to use VOC coating saving $250,000.

DELCO REMY (As consultant from Rapid Design Service ) El Paso TX.

ADVANCED PLANNING. Optimized production floor. Deployed production lines, Just in Time and training for new suppliers (5/91-7/92). QUALITY PROCESS ENGINEER. Reduced scrap and warranty, improved products and processes. Assisted Mexican engineering in control systems such as sensors, hydraulic and air management solenoids; and in processes such as plastic injection molding, forming, winding, wirewrap (1/89-5/91).

-Developed continuous process improvement team (Kaizen) that achieved ZERO warranty rejects through the first fourteen months.

-Reduced warranty to ZERO in the solenoids winding and wire-wrap areas.
